Box Base
The humble box. When I'm designing printed kits, space is at a premium. Having designed a model I often have trouble fitting all the parts onto the model extent. Using a whole piece of card is perhaps rather wasteful. How about this for a solution? Only five faces of the cube are used, the base being made up from folds and triangle sections on the box sides.
Look out for this new base design in the next printed kit!
