Gluing
When gluing, make sure that you don't overload the card board. Only a thin layer of glue is needed. You should just be able to see the white of the glue. If you use too much glue the result can be a soggy mess! The water based glue will soak into the card and reduce the overall strength of the model. It will also take longer to dry if to much glue is used.

We always keep a set of tweezers handy when model making. One the glued surfaces are put together they can be nipped tight with the tweezers quickly starting the bonding process. Tweezers can also get into places where fat fingers can't reach.
